Christmas at Uncle George and Auntie Sarah's House

We went to Uncle George and Auntie Sarah's house for a yummy Christmas dinner. Boy, was I surprised with all the neat presents that I got!
This is one of my favorite toys. I can make the cars to "zoom zoom" on the track!
I hung out with Mrs. S.
And also with my cuz Nathan. He is a cool cat!
Of course, we had to take the obligatory family photo in front of the Christmas tree.

Christmas Hike

My family has a tradition of doing a big hike on Christmas day. Since I haven't trained that hard yet, we took it easy this year. We went to Bailey Canyon in Sierra Madre.
Sure, I'm taking baby steps now, but it won't be long until I am able to give Bear Grylls a run for his money!
Daddy looked a bit uneasy on his feet...
So I held his hand most of the way.
There were a lot of trail markers to help guide us along the trail.

I Love Christmas Morning

I love Christmas morning. Since I was a good boy all year, Santa brought me lots of presents.
My Daddy didn't get as many presents, so he had to play with mine.

The Boonies

We spent an afternoon in Kula, which is pretty much the boonies. We visited the Surfing Goat Dairy.
I got to meet the farm dog. He gave me a big lick on the face!
The goats were also very friendly.
And I got to pet the soft fur on their faces.
This was perhaps the highlight of my visit.

Maui Exploration

We explored the west side of Maui on afternoon. In Kapalua, there is something called the "Dragon's Teeth" which is a lava cliff formation.

Next, we went to see the Nakalele blow hole. This is the path down. Sure it looks easy here, but it gets quite trecherous!
Mommy neglected to take a picture of the blow hole (it was not blowing anything when we got there). We did find a heart shaped cut in one of the rocks!

Maui in December

I started off at the kiddie pool. Looks like I meet the height requirement!
I also got to chill out in the adult pool...
The beach was also a lot of fun.
This is what I call a vacation!

My second Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving weekend was loads of fun. We got to sleep in. Yeah, that's me drinking out of a bottle.

I also went to downtown L.A. on "Black Friday" to Mommy's work. Grandma came with us and we got to explore!

This is me outside of Mommy's building. There are lots of neat sculptures in the courtyard.


I also got to play in the park.

Read me a story!

What can I say? I love books and I love having people read to me. I get to pick out the books and my grandma, mommy or daddy will read them to me!

Halloween Fun!

I had lots of Halloween fun this year. My mommy and daddy took me to Descanso Gardens for their Halloween festival. I got to play with my friend Parker.

I also went trick or treating in Sierra Madre with my friend Charlotte. This is Charlotte with her mommy.
I was able to wander freely...
Of course, no Halloween would be complete without the obligatory pumpkin shot. Hey, I'm not wearing this costume for nothing!

Mommy and Daddy's 3rd Wedding Anniversary

Mommy and Daddy celebrated their 3rd year wedding anniversary. They initially wanted to do something by themselves, but I let them know that I was available to join them. So we spent the entire day together in Long Beach. First, we ate lunch at the Long Beach Museum of Art, the place where they got married.

I got to look at all the pretty flowers.

Then they took me to the Long Beach Aquarium. I saw a lot of interesting fishes and made some friends too!


I also got to ride on the back of Mommy's new bicycle. It was a lot of fun, but I fell asleep after about 5 minutes.

My baby is growing up!

I took this picture yesterday at a birthday party and was shocked to see how grown up my little baby looked! It's almost as if I am getting a glimpse of what Thomas will look like when he becomes a young man! Sigh. I hope he will always keep his look of wide-eyed innocence forever.

Captivated

If you know a thing or two about toddlers, you know that they never sit still. There is only one exception to this rule - Baby Einstein. I can't understand the appeal, but it certainly keeps little Thomas captivated for an entire 30 minutes.

My Cousin Alex

Welcome to the world Alex!

It has been a long time since my mommy last posted to my blog (about 2 months ago)! And it's not for a lack of cute defining moments in my toddlerhood. My mommy has been very busy juggling a career and taking care of me and she is also pregnant with my little sister. Anyway, I told her that I got a call from the president of my fan club, complaining about the lack of posts and she promised to post more pictures. Enough of that, back to the BIG news, my uncle Marvin and my auntie Susie welcomed Alexander ("Alex") on October 2, 2009. He is really cute and I just know that we are going to be best buddies!

Thomas the Bookworm

Thomas loves his books. He will pull every single book out of his box and flip through each one a few times before moving onto the next one. Not sure what he is getting out of them. If you try to read a book to him, he will impatiently grab it from you and flip the pages himself.
