Am I done with kids???

My friends accuse me of not being done with having kids. When I see these pictures, I tend to agree...Even though Maddie is growing to be such a delightful little toddler, I SO MISS the little cuddly baby Maddie.

My Little Cabbage

Call me crazy, but everytime I see this little cabbage toy, I am consumed with an overwhelming sensation of maternal love. The only explanation I can think of is that it reminds me of Maddie's little face...


My husband thinks I'm nuts, but I think the resemblance is uncanny.

Improved walking skills

Maddie is getting better at walking, though she still walks like she's had one too many drinks. Mi borrachita. Her father is still frustrated with way she walks with such reckless abandon - she just hurls herself in the general direction she wants to go and never pays any attention to what she is stepping on. It does not matter to her if there is a pile of toys in her way, she will attempt to plow through them as if they were not there.

Grandma, make me laugh!

The funniest part of this video is the part you cannot see. It's my mother (beloved Grandma) who I imagine is jumping up and down and trying her darnest to make Maddie laugh, yet remain as inconspicuous as possible. Notice the movement of the shadows cast on Maddie's face and the sound of shuffling feet.

Of course, Grandma also lets me get away with putting carrot sticks in my nose! I know that Mommy and Daddy would NEVER let me do that!

Spending a Morning with Granda

I love spending time with Grandma. She is so much more fun than Mommy and Daddy. For example, she lets me have candy and doughnuts for breakfast! Who can argue with that!

Here's mommy and my sister Maddie. Maddie had to stay in the backpack because she doesn't walk or follow directions very well.

An Afternoon with the Sohn Family!

We went on a little hike with the Sohns this afternoon. Boy, did Thomas have fun hanging with the big boys!

We even found a swing in the middle of the trail! Uncle George is showing me how to hang on and swing, but I was a bit scared!

Look at the handsome Sohn boys! I hope I can grow up to be big and handsome like them!

Griffith Park Train Ride

We took the munchkins to the Griffith Park train/pony rides. My dad used to bring me here Saturday mornings and the place has not changed one bit! I wonder if it will stay the same for another 30 years!

Thomas wanted to go on another ride, but it started to rain. Boo! We'll have to return on another day to try out the pony rides!

Welcome to the World, Stephanie!

Is there anything more precious than a newborn baby sleeping contently in your arms? Stephanie made her debut on St. Patrick's day without a stitch of green on her. I would have given her a little pinch if I had been there!


Here she is, the day after her birth, and as cute as can be! Who can resist those delicate features!
